Women in Ecommerce

13 October 2026 · 14:00-17:30

The Terrace, Dakota Hotel, 29 Ducie St, Manchester M1 2JL

None of us grow in isolation. Who’s in your corner? Women in Ecommerce is an afternoon for women across the industry to meet, share experiences and build the connections that help us go further. Whatever your role. Whatever your experience. If you work in or around eCommerce, you belong in the room. BUILDING TRUST AND CONNECTIONS Behind every career are people who’ve made a difference. The mentor who saw something in you. The colleague who shared what they knew. The person who made an introduction, opened a door or backed you when it mattered. That’s what this afternoon is about: who helps us grow, and how can we do the same for other women? We’ll explore it through honest conversations, shared experiences and plenty of opportunities to actually get to know the women in the room. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ROOM? THE PANEL Your questions. Their experiences. Women from across commerce will come together for an honest conversation shaped by the questions you want answered. Careers. Confidence. Leadership. Mistakes. Opportunities. Difficult decisions. The things we should probably talk about more. Questions can be submitted anonymously before the event. LIGHTNING TALKS Five minutes. Your floor. Short, 5–8 minute talks from women with something worth sharing. You don’t need to be an experienced speaker. If you have an idea, experience or lesson that could help someone else, this is a room that’s on your side. Speakers will also be offered a complimentary 30-minute 1:1 session with a mentor from the Hello Moxie community to help them prepare. ROUNDTABLES Small groups. Proper conversations. Groups of 6–8 women will get around a table with one topic worth talking about. Share experiences. Ask questions. Disagree. Learn. Figure things out together. We’ll provide the starting point. The women around the table decide where the conversation goes. AND THEN? We don't want Women in Ecommerce to begin and end with one afternoon in Manchester. We want more rooms. More cities. More opportunities to meet, speak, mentor, learn, ask for help and make introductions. A network of women actively invested in seeing other women do well. But we're starting with one room. 13 October 2026 · The Terrace, Dakota Hotel, Manchester · 14:00–17:30 · Free to attend Come for the panel. Take the mic. Pull up a chair. Meet someone you wouldn't otherwise have met. Women in Ecommerce is a fringe event of MageCamp 2026. Get your ticket here https://mage.camp/tickets

Pre-event Networking

13 October 2026 · 19:00-21:30

Sureshot Taproom 5 Sheffield Street Manchester M1 2ND

The best conferences have great fringe events, so why wait until Wednesday? Start MageCamp a night early. On Tuesday night, we’re taking over Sureshot Taproom for a very unofficial start to MageCamp. Zero talks, slides or hideously engineered networking exercises. Just drinks, good people and a chance to get to know a few faces before the main event begins. If you’re coming to MageCamp on Wednesday, this is your opportunity to walk in already knowing people, and if you’ve spent years talking to someone through Slack, LinkedIn, GitHub or a tiny circle on a video call, now’s your chance to confirm they do actually exist in three dimensions. Merchants, developers, agencies, technology partners, speakers, sponsors and anyone else in the eCommerce community are welcome. Come on your own, bring colleagues, arrive at 7pm or wander in later. There’s no agenda and absolutely nothing you’re expected to do once you get there. Just turn up, grab a drink and see who you bump into. Tuesday 13 October · From 19:00 Sureshot Taproom, Manchester Free, but ticketed MageCamp itself kicks off the following morning at Sister. Conference tickets are separate - make sure you've got yours.

Mage Run

14 October 2026 · 07:00-08:00

The Arches by Sister Reynolds building 32a Altrincham St Manchester M1 7JR

Because apparently starting a conference at 8:30am wasn't early enough. Before the coffee, the keynotes and an entire day of talking about eCommerce, we’re starting Mage Camp with a run through Manchester. (And we use the word run generously.) This isn't a race. Nobody's timing you. Nobody cares about your Strava PB. There are no medals, pacers or suspiciously enthusiastic people shouting about split times. Run. Jog. Walk. Chat. Question your decision to get out of bed this early. All are perfectly acceptable ways to Mage Run. We’ll head out together for an easy 5k route, stick together and make sure nobody gets left behind. The point is to get moving, see a bit of Manchester and meet some of the Mage Camp crowd before everyone acquires a lanyard and starts talking about Magento. Wednesday 14 October · 07:00–08:00 Manchester · Free to join All paces and levels of enthusiasm welcome. You’ll be finished with enough time to get showered, caffeinated and over to Sister before registration opens at 08:30. Trainers on. Egos off. See you at 7am.

Mage Camp: After Dark - sponsored by Corefinity

14 October 2026 · 18:00-23:00

Salon Madre, 49 Chorlton St., Manchester, M1 3FY

When the final session wraps, Mage Camp is heading into the night at "After Dark" at Salón Madre. We’re taking over one of Manchester’s most distinctive venues for a night of proper DJs, Mexican food, blue margaritas, magic, tarot and just the right amount of mayhem...including a few things you probably don’t get at the average eCommerce conference after party. Get your tarot cards read. Get thoroughly confused by a magician. Find out whether your future contains a successful replatform. Dance. Eat tacos. Carry on the conversation you started three sessions ago. Whatever takes your fancy. Corefinity are sponsoring the night - including the blue margaritas - so raise one in their direction before making any major decisions based on the tarot. Everyone with a confirmed in-person Mage Camp ticket gets in free, and if you couldn't make the conference but don't want to miss the party, guest tickets are £10. Wednesday 14 October · From 18:00 till late Salón Madre · Manchester Merchants, developers, agencies, speakers, sponsors and friends of the community...See you After Dark.
