- Track Talk: "Making Trustworthy AI E-Commerce Businesses"
AI innovation and adoption are accelerating across UK eCommerce businesses, yet governance maturity remains limited, particularly among smaller firms. The UK does not have a dedicated AI Act, with AI instead regulated through existing regulators and legal frameworks. Businesses trading into Europe must also consider the requirements of the EU AI Act. At the same time, customers are becoming increasingly resistant to the widespread use of AI in their interactions with businesses. This session explores the key considerations for eCommerce organisations seeking to adopt AI responsibly, maintain customer trust and build a competitive advantage.
